HardBark MgO is a magnesium oxide floor board installed beneath your finished floor. Its smooth surface accommodates tile, vinyl, carpet or timber flooring systems.

What is MgO floor board used for?
It forms the base beneath finished floors in new builds and renovations, including bathrooms, laundries and living areas.
Which floor finishes can I use?
Tile, vinyl, carpet and timber. Follow the finish supplier’s requirements for surface preparation, joint treatment, adhesives and underlay.
Do wet areas still need waterproofing?
Yes. The board does not replace a waterproofing membrane. Wet areas and tiled balconies need a separate waterproofing system.
Can I use it in place of another floor board?
Your builder or designer must confirm suitability for the floor loads, joist spacing, fixings and finish before substituting a specified board.
How do I get a quote?
Send your floor area or drawings, delivery suburb and required timing. Include the intended finish and joist spacing if known.
