Information we collect

Depending on how you work with us, this may include your name, phone number, email address, delivery or project address, product preferences, measurements, quote selections, site conditions, and the messages, photos, plans or drawings you choose to send.

We usually collect this information directly from you through our website, email, phone, WhatsApp, in-person conversations or project documents. A builder, property manager or another person involved in your project may also provide relevant contact or site information.

How we use your information

We use relevant information to understand and respond to your enquiry, prepare or follow up a quote, check product and installation requirements, arrange supply, delivery or installation, communicate about your project, provide after-sales or warranty support, maintain business records, improve our service, and protect our website and business from misuse.

If we need to use information for a materially different purpose, we will seek permission where appropriate or rely on another lawful basis.

Who we may share it with

We may provide the minimum relevant information to Heriton team members and to trusted providers that help us deliver the service — for example installers, delivery providers, suppliers, professional advisers, website hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising and communication services.

Our website and communications use providers including Vercel, Resend, Google, Meta and WhatsApp. Some providers may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States or other locations where they operate. Their own privacy terms also apply when you use their services.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to prevent a serious threat, fraud or misuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Website data, analytics and tracking

When you visit our website, technical information may be collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location and interactions with the site. We use Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand website performance, measure enquiries and improve our communications.

These services may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies. You can limit cookies and some tracking through your browser settings, privacy tools, or the settings offered by Google and Meta. Blocking them may affect measurement, but should not stop you from reading the website or contacting us directly.

When you submit a quote request, the latest details are also kept in your browser's local storage so the site can prepare your follow-up and WhatsApp message. This copy stays on that device until it is replaced or you clear the site's browser data.

Keeping information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, interference and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes limiting access to people who need the information for their work and using reputable service providers and appropriate technical safeguards.

No website, email service or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. If information is no longer reasonably needed, we aim to delete it or remove identifying details, subject to legal, accounting, warranty and legitimate business record requirements.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, withdraw a consent you previously gave, or make a privacy complaint. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
